Folio AAC is distributed through the Apple App Store under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA). These notes supplement it.

The plain-language version

Free core. Typing, speaking, saved phrases and word prediction are free. Folio Pro (unlimited AI suggestions, Conversation Mode, unlimited phrase bank) is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before any payment. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed in your Apple Account settings.
Your content is yours. Phrases, messages and backups belong to you. We claim no rights over anything you write or say.
Suggestions are suggestions. AI-generated phrase suggestions are optional drafts. You choose what Folio speaks; you are the author of your communication. Review suggestions before speaking them.
Not a medical device. Folio is a communication tool, not a medical device, and provides no medical advice. It is not a substitute for emergency services — don't rely on it as your only way to call for help.
Service continuity. Core features work offline on your device and keep working even if our servers are discontinued. Optional cloud features depend on our servers and third-party providers and may change or end; we'll be honest about it if they do.
Fair use. Don't abuse the cloud service (automated scraping, resale, unlawful content). Rate limits apply.
